Award for Jonathan

Daily Trust - - NEWS -

It was evident that Senator Adefemi Kila, a delegate representing the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), was very excited while commenting on the inaugural speech of President Goodluck Jonathan.

He said Jonathan deserves a “national award” for his inaugural speech. He said the president speech was “well prepared and delivered.”

It was clear he was “aligning” himself with hundreds other delegates who eulogized the president speech to high heavens as if their membership to the conference would be withdrawn if they don’t do so.

Very few of the delegates who have spoken so far pointed some omissions on the speech. The civil society and labour delegates, among others said the president was silence on corruption, impunity, transparency and insecurity that is daily transporting Nigerians in their hundred to their graves.
