The crises rocking the Kaduna State chapter of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), yesterday, took a new dimension as factional members rejected the purported election held March 22, 2014.

Speaking on behalf of his group at a press conference on behalf of the faction backing the ousted chairman, Mohammadu Nda Kogi, Alhaji Abdulfatah Murtala, the Managing Director of Yusuffa Petroleum/ Gas Nig LTD and First Oil investment Nig LTD, said they have resolved not to accept Alhaji Rabi’u Mohammed Yola and others as elected chairman and executives respectively.

“We will never recognise these confused and self-imposed leaders in the name of executives of Kaduna State chapter. We also call on members of IPMAN in Kaduna State to disregard the confusion being perpetrated by some disgruntled few members and reject in totality, any attempt to disrepute or sow seed of discord among the rank and file of IPMAN members,” the group said.

It called on Kaduna State Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero to intervene, as a matter of urgency, to avoid deterioration to uncontrollable level.
