Abaji partners FRSC to reduce accidents on Abaji/lokoja highway
Abaji Area Council has stated its readiness to collaborate with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) to reduce the number of accidents along the Abaji-Lokoja highway.
The chairman of the area council, Alhaji Yahaya Garba Gawu, disclosed readiness of the council during a meeting with FRSC officials.
According to the council boss, the collaboration with the FRSC became necessary in view of the crucial role played by the commission in ensuring the safety of motorists and reducing accident rates on the road.
The chairman reiterated his administration’s determination to boost the morale of the officers of the commission, urging them to be alive to their duties.
Earlier, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Sector Commandant, Mrs. S.A Ajenge, commended the council boss for his assistance, saying he has helped the commission in the performance of its duties.
