Nigerian NBA star Al Farouq Aminu says he is improving as a player at his club, New Orleans Pelicans.

Aminu who logged just 19 minutes on Monday against the Kings, scoring four points on 1-of-1 shooting with two rebounds and three steals said there’s always room for improvement in any player and that the quality of the game in America is amazing.

“The quality of the game over here is the best in the world and when one plays around the best teams and players, he will surely improve as a player and hopefully I’ll keep improving to be one of the best” the power forward player said.

The former LA Clippers player who was one of Nigeria’s top performers at last year’s Afrobasket Tournament with 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game isn’t getting enough playing time this season due to the presence of Tyreke Evans who joined the Pelicans from the Sacramento Kings.
