55 petrol laden ships to berth at La­gos ports

Fifty ships laden with petroleum prod­ucts are ex­pected to berth at the La­gos ports be­tween Thurs­day April 10 and April 30. This was con­tained in the “Ship­ping Po­si­tion”, a daily pub­li­ca­tion of the Nige­rian Ports Author­ity (NPA) made avail­able to news­men in La­gos yes­ter­day. Ac­cord­ing to the pub­li­ca­tion, four of the ex­pected ves­sels will ar­rive at the ports with petroleum prod­ucts, while 14 ships are car­ry­ing other goods. A fur­ther break­down showed also that six ships would sail in with bulk rice, while 31 ships had gen­eral cargo, bulk wheat, bulk malt, bulk fer­tiliser, base oil and rice.( NAN)
