Stu­dents ac­cuse amnesty of­fice of ne­glect

Nige­rian stu­dents on schol­ar­ship in the United King­dom cour­tesy of the pres­i­den­tial amnesty pro­gramme have ac­cused the Spe­cial Ad­viser to the Pres­i­dent on Niger Delta, Kings­ley Kuku of ne­glect.

The stu­dents in a let­ter to Pres­i­dent Jonathan said they have not re­ceived their al­lowances since De­cem­ber 2013, a sit­u­a­tion they lamented have ex­posed them to un­told hard­ship.

The stu­dents who are study­ing in var­i­ous uni­ver­si­ties in­clud­ing Anglia Ruskin Univer­sity, Cam­bridge said: “We are writ­ing to Dr. Good­luck Jonathan and to also in­form Nige­ri­ans of the ne­glect, dif­fi­cul­ties and chal­lenges we are fac­ing here in the United King­dom.”
