Rep cau­tions Adamawa PDP against hate pol­i­tics

Ha­jiya Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Bi­nani) has urged mem­bers of the Peo­ples Demo­cratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa state to avoid pol­i­tics of ha­tred or at­tack against other par­ties.

Ha­jiya Aishatu who is the Chair­per­son of the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives Com­mit­tee on Con­stituency Out­reach in the state also urged party mem­bers to rec­on­cile and re­unite for 2015 poll.

She said al­though Gover­nor Mur­tala Nyako be­longs to the All Pro­gres­sives Congress (APC), PDP mem­bers should re­spect him and avoid bit­ter pol­i­tics which could dis­rupt the peace of the state.

She spoke dur­ing a visit to the Chair­man of PDP in Adamawa State, Chief Joel Madaki, where she as­sured that she had no plan to de­fect to any party.

“I have come here to plead with our mem­bers to re­main united and work for the progress of PDP in the gen­eral elec­tions in 2015, a state­ment from her of­fice quoted her as say­ing.

“I have no in­ten­tion of de­fect­ing be­cause this party made me what I am to­day. It is a great op­por­tu­nity to be the first elected fe­male mem­ber of the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from this state, I owe the PDP a lot and I will con­tinue to do my best to up­lift the party,” she said.

On his part, the PDP Chair­man in Adamawa State, Chief Joel Madaki, said: “I will do my best to keep this party united. There is no vic­tor, no van­quished.”
