Insecurity: Nwagwu condemns PDP’s Kano rally
A delegate representing civil society organisations at the National Conference, Ezenwa Nwagwu, has condemned the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for “dancing on television” in Kano while the country is mourning victims of the Abuja bomb blast and the abduction of school girls in Chibok, Borno State yesterday.
Ezenwa, who was contributing to discussions on the security situation in the country, also lamented that economic hit men have taken over the country.
“My concern is with the quality of the Nigerian; I am concerned because we are so used to making our citizens statistics; we have become mere statistics.
“There are no names attached to this 71; no names attached to the 100 girls and the concern about that is that people say don’t play politics, as we speak, as we grieve, as we mourn, some political party are having rally in Kano today.”
