Buhari youth organisation launched in Uyo
National President of the Buhari Youths Organization (BYO), Prince Mohammed Umaru, yesterday took a swipe at the political leadership of the country, accusing it of mortgaging the future of the youths.
Umaru who spoke with our correspondent in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state shortly after the inauguration of the Buhari Youths Organization (BYO) on Wednesday, said Nigerian youths have been impoverished and left to suffer and this should not be allowed to continue.
“Our youths have been left hopeless and jobless and our political leaders who are suppose to safeguard our future are busy building empires for themselves. We cannot allow this anymore, we must make the sacrifice today to safeguard tomorrow, we must rise today to liberate the future’’
He said the Buhari Youth Organisation is out to promote the ideologies and virtues that Muhammadu Buhari stands for and to unite Nigerian youths across the geo-political and religious divide in order to make the country better.
The president charged the youths to take the gauntlet and their destiny in their hands today in order to secure their tomorrow.
“We came here with the message of peace to tell our youths that a time has come for us to come together to salvage this country, we must not allow any other person divide us but must unite against injustice in the land’’
He extolled the virtues of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari saying those who associate him with bad things are not sincere.
