Sa’adatu Rimi’s de­gree pro­gramme: A wel­come de­vel­op­ment

The in­tro­duc­tion of de­gree pro­grammes by the Sa’adatu Rimi Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion, Kano, has been de­scribed by the stu­dents as a right step to boost­ing ed­u­ca­tion in the state.

The col­lege has re­cently launched the pro­gramme with 300 pioneer stu­dents for the 2013/2014 aca­demic ses­sion.

The pro­gramme would be run in af­fil­i­a­tion with two rep­utable uni­ver­si­ties, Bayero Univer­sity Kano (BUK) and the Univer­sity of Ilorin (UNILORIN).

Some of the cour­ses to be of­fered by the in­sti­tu­tion in­clude B.A ED English, B.A ED Math­e­mat­ics, B.A, ED Physics, Bi­ol­ogy, Chem­istry and P.E.S.

Stu­dents of the in­sti­tu­tion have ex­pressed their hap­pi­ness with the de­vel­op­ment.

Shu’aibu Adamu is an English stu­dent at Sa’adatu Rimi Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion, Kano.
