Daily Trust - - CITY NEWS -

The Executive Secretary of the FCT Primary Health Education Board, Dr. Rilwan Mohammed, said that of the 6,000 personnel deployed to immunise eligible children in the FCT, nine were affected by the Nyanya bomb blast.

Mohammed made this known when he visited the injured victims including immunisation facilitators in various government and private hospitals in the Abuja Municipal Area Council.

He said the facilitators must have gone to the park while on their way to Wuse to collect vaccines for the exercise, explaining that the immunisation exercise in Nyanya ward was suspended due to the ugly event.

Hospitals visited included Maitama General Hospital, Nigeria Customs Service Clinic, Karu, Pan-Raf Clinic Jikwoyi and Asokoro General Hospital, Asokoro.
