Daily Trust - - NEWS - From Shehu Umar, Gusau

Zamfara State government has concluded plans to secure a loan of N1billion for traders in the state, Governor Abdulaziz Yari has said.

Speaking at a Trade Fair in Gusau, Yari said the state government entered into an agreement with the Bank of Industry for the loan.

“I would like to draw the attention of our participants and all prospective investors in this trade fair to our vast investment potentials. When we take into account the huge concentration of solid minerals in various parts, the state is a haven for all those who wish to invest,” he said.

The governor added: “Let me commend the efforts and commitments of the Zamfara Chamber of Commerce, Industries Mines and Agriculture for taking the burden of organizing this annual event, which is no doubt an engine of economic growth and development.”
