The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has called on the Federal Government to redouble its effort to bring to end insecurity in the country.

The NBA President Okey Wali, SAN said this in a statement yesterday in Abuja.

He described the bomb explosion at the Nyanya Motor Park which claimed the lives of over 70 Nigerians and wounded more than 100 as act of terrorism that “brings to the fore, the increasing high level of insecurity in Nigeria.”

“The NBA out rightly condemns the attack in the strongest of terms. It is senseless, callous, devilish and animalistic. Nothing can explain this. This is very much unnigerian,” the NBA President said.

“We hereby repeat our call on the Federal Government to redouble its efforts in the war against terror and terrorists, as well as their backers, no matter who and where they may be found.”
