New event added to CAA Grand prix in Warri

The Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) has added a new event, “Nigeria vs the World Relays,” to the Warri Relays Race scheduled for June 13 in Warri.

Commodore Omatseye Nesiama, the Director of the race, said in a statement on Thursday that the new event would be for men and women.

According to the statement the new race is open to other countries wishing to improve their ranking in the relay events.

It said the race would feature 4x100m and 4x400m in both categories and urged interested countries to confirm their registration on or before May 14. (NAN)
