Easter: 10 deaths recorded from road crashes in Kogi
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has said that ten people died from auto crashes which occurred across the state during the Easter period.
Kogi State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Godwin Omiko, while addressing journalists, said the deaths were recorded from the 26 accidents that occurred during the period.
He said a total of 120 passengers were involved in the accidents, and that 10 died, 39 were injured while others escaped unhurt.
Omiko said the command will do everything possible to achieve the objective of the commission to reduce accidents by 15 per cent.
