FG appoints Ibrahim as Raw Material Council DG
The Federal Government has appointed Dr. Hussaini Doko Ibrahim as the new Director General/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Raw Materials Research and Development Council.
Until his appointment which was announced last week, Dr. Ibrahim was the Acting Director General, Board Secretary of the Council.
Dr. Ibrahim was born on 24th September, 1962 and holds a B.Sc. degree in Textile Science and Technology which he obtained in 1984, from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State.
He also had his M.Sc. in Textile Science and Technology in 1988 and a Ph.D. in the same discipline from University of Leeds, United Kingdom. The new DG started his career as a lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1985 and joined the Council in 1994. Dr. Ibrahim belongs to several professional bodies within and outside Nigeria amongst which are: Textile Institute, United Kingdom (as Chartered Textile Technologist), Institute of Management Consultants, Nigerian Institute of Management, Materials Society of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Trustees, Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria and Institute of Corporate Administrators.
