FCT minister wins award
FCT Minister Bala Mohammed was last Friday in Abuja given Lifetime Achievement Award by the Nigerian Urban Development Awards 2014.
The organizers said the award was pursuant to the realization of Nigeria’s dream for the Federal Capital City under Mohammed.
The Director of Urban and Regional Planning, Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Mr Shola Salami, who received the plaque for the minister, acknowledged that different professionals have contributed to the building of the city.
Urban Development Awards is an industry recognition presented to organizations and individuals that have made momentous contributions in designated sectors of the Nigerian real estate sectors.
In a related development, coalition of civil society organizations under the aegis of Coalition of Civil Society for Transparency in Governance have lauded the performance of the FCT minister.
The Executive Director of the coalition, Comrade Agbese Philip who praised the transparent initiatives of the minister during the coal;itions roundtable on Transformation Agenda yesterday in Abuja said the meeting x-rayed the performance of President Goodluck Jonathan administration in the various sectors of the economy.
