FG declares tomorrow public holiday

The federal government has declared tomorrow as public holiday to commemorate the 2014 workers’ day.

Minister of Interior Comrade Abba Moro in a statement announced the declaration of public holiday for the May 1st annual celebration.

Permanent Secretary of the interior Ministry, Fatima Bamidele who signed on behalf of the minister congratulated Nigerian workers for their resilience and commitment in the face of obvious challenges of daily living.

He enjoined them to support the present government in its efforts to improve the work environment and living conditions of Nigerian workers.

He further urged Nigerian workers to support the President, Goodluck Jonathan in his desire to transform the country.
