Anza said: “The APC state congress has again been shifted from Monday to Wednesday, April 30, 2014. This change in date is to allow for wider consultations by stakeholders on the pending issues arising from the recently conducted local government congresses.”

The split in the party is also believed to have been responsible for the crisis is which shrouded the congresses held in some of the local government areas, last week.

Our correspondent gathered that in Ushongo and Buruku uku local governments as well as in the Benue South senatorial district, strict, supporters of the Senate nate Minority Leader, George ge Akume, and that of the e former ACN gubernatorial candidate in the state, Alhaji Usman Abubakar, clashed.
