Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State says the wind of change under President Muhammadu Buhari is evidently manifesting in every sector in the country.

He spoke yesterday in a statement to mark Nigeria’s 55th independence anniversary. He said change had become evident in improved supply of petroleum products and electricity.

Badaru said while congratulating Nigerians on attaining 55 years of nationhood that this year’s anniversary was symbolic as it came under a new administrative dispensation.

The governor appealed to the people of his state to be patient as his government was working hard to ensure that all challenges were being addressed to lay a solid foundation for future development.

“All these changes are as a result of the dynamic leadership being provided by President Muhammadu Buhari. I therefore congratulate all Nigerians as our nation attains 55 years of nationhood. As we celebrate, I appeal to all citizens to give maximum support as we focus our energy on building a more prosperous and peaceful nation. For us in Jigawa State, we call for understanding and patience”, he said.
