Buhari has changed Nigeria’s global image - Senator Ibrahim

Daily Trust - - INSIDE POLITICS - By Terkula Igidi

Senator Abu Ibrahim representing Katsina South on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that President Muhammadu Buhari has changed the global image of Nigeria from negative to positive within four months of ascending the presidency.

The Senator, who made this assertion to newsmen in Abuja, said gone were the days when every Nigerian was stereotyped and denigrated abroad as corrupt and fraudulent.

He added that the Buhari administration had ushered in a new era both at home and on the global stage.

He said President Buhari’s firm stand against corruption had shown the whole world that indeed not all Nigerians were corrupt and criminal minded.

He said the successes recorded in the power sector, the changing tide against Boko Haram insurgency, the bailout to state governments and the repositioning of the federal civil service for effective delivery were pointers to the fact that a serious person was at the helm of affairs.
