Ingredients 4 hard boiled eggs [shelled] ¼ kilo of minced meat or sausage meat 1 spring onion chopped] 1 fresh pepper [crushed] 1 tsp curry powder 1 seasoning cube 1 tsp crushed garlic and salt to taste Vegetable oil for deep frying 1 beaten egg ½ cup breadcrumbs 1 tbsp flour
[finely Method 1. In a large bowl mix together the meat, onion, pepper, seasoning and spices mix thoroughly. 2. Coat the eggs in flour, and divide the meat into 4 portions , take a portion at a time , flatten it and place an egg in the center of each piece, using your hands, gather up the mixture to totally encase the egg. 3. Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Deep each scotch egg into the beaten egg then into the breadcrumbs. 4. Carefully place in the hot oil and fry until golden.
