Ujah keen to make Eagles splash

Daily Trust - - SPORT -

Anthony Ujah insists he never really had the chance to prove himself at international level in the past few years.

The 24-year-old has been capped just four times at international level and he says things could have been better.

“I don’t agree that I have had enough chances (to prove myself) with the national team because my first cap arrived in 2013 and the second was in early 2015 against Uganda.

“When your first and second caps come between a period of two years, it’s like you are starting afresh all over again but I am not making excuses.”
