ITF promotes 629 staff
The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) promoted 629 staff who scaled through the 2015 promotion exercise, Mrs. Ifeoma Ihezue, Head of Public Affairs, said at the weekend in Jos, Plateau State.
A statement by the spokesperson said 32 of the staff were elevated having acquired additional certificates.
Twelve persons were promoted from the rank of Assistant Director to Deputy Director, and 43 from the rank of Chief to Assistant Director.
The statement quoted Director General of the Fund, Ms. Juliet Chukkas-Onaeko, as tasking the promoted officers to ensure they use their new offices for the growth of the fund.
She urged them to ensure total commitment and dedication to duty for optimal productivity and goals attainment.
‘‘ITF has become more relevant to the growth of the national economy, particularly in the area of training for job creation. So, for our corporate goals to be achieved, staff must be committed’’, she said.
She promised to provide an enabling working environment for staff to effectively discharge their duties.
