RFI Hausa loses staff in car accident
The Hausa service of the Radio France International (RFI) has lost one of its staff, Nasiruddeen Muhammed after a head-on collision accident along Akwanga road in Nasarawa State.
The late Muhammed, who was returning to Lagos after completing his annual leave, was the presenter of the popular economic program, “Kasuwa Akai miki Dole”, which chronicles the economic activities both locally and internationally.
Born on September 12, 1978, late Muhammed was a graduate of Bayero University, Kano where he bagged his BA Degree in Mass Communication and started his journalism career with Vision FM Abuja as a Broadcast Journalist before he later joined RFI Hausa in 2012.
The late Muhammed died in the accident alongside one of his sons, while his wife and another son in the same vehicle sustained fractures, according to a statement by RFI Hausa.
