Crisis centre seeks partnership with media
The Executive Secretary, Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC), retired Air Commodore Yusuf Anas has observed that partnership with the media is vital in crisis communication and management.
He made the observation yesterday in Abuja during a meeting with the editorial team of Daily Trust newspaper titles.
He said collaboration and partnership with the organisation would enable the Centre achieve its mandate of coordination and harmonisation of information situations.
Anas said the Centre is an independent body that provides needed supports and intervention in crisis information management for critical stakeholders.
According to him, the centre is being developed as a systematic approach
crisis to incident information management and response organ.
He added that the centre also seeks to create a one-stop objective information hub through timely collation and professionalism in the dissemination to the public.
