Daily Trust - - NEWS - From Eugene Agha, Lagos

The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) is seeking better collaboration with the Nigerian Army to check possible infiltration of Boko Haram members into Lagos and Ogun States.

Army authorities at 82 Division recently confirmed the arrest of some suspected members of the sect in both states.

The new Assistant Comptroller General of Immigration, Mr. Musa Maza, during a courtesy visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Commanding 82 Division, Victoria Island Lagos, Major General Isidore Henry Edet, said it was high time all security agencies came together to tackle the Boko Haram insurgency.

He explained it would be extremely difficult to solve the Boko Haram problem without effective and improved collaboration among security agencies.

Responding, Major General Edet advised all paramilitary agencies to always inform the army when embarking on any crucial operation.
