Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has insisted that there is no going back in the struggle for Biafra.

Assistant National Information Director of MASSOB, Mr Sunny Okereafor, said this while addressing newsmen on the recent call on the group by the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) to work together to ensure one Nigeria.

He said: “We are saying no to their request, because the forceful marriage that joined them to Nigeria can no longer continue”.

While insisting on a peaceful secession from Nigeria, Okereafor condemned what he called failure of ACF members to condemn activities of Boko Haram in the North-east.

He regretted that since the civil war, Igbos had remained unprotected, a situation which he said resulted in killing of Igbos through organized riot.

Okereafor, who hailed President Buhari for his call for freedom of the oppressed in the world, said, “All Igbos should have their freedom while the Northerners should stay with their Boko Haram people”.
