Enugu gets new post-pri­mary school mgt board

Enugu State Gover­nor, Chief Ifeanyi Ug­wuanyi, yesterday dis­solved the Post Pri­mary School Man­age­ment Board (PPSMB) and re­con­sti­tuted a new one.

A state­ment from the of­fice of the Sec­re­tary to the State Gov­ern­ment (SSG), Mr. Gabriel, O.C Ajah, said yesterday that the gover­nor ap­proved the re­con­sti­tu­tion of the new board with ef­fect from Oc­to­ber 9 with Bar­ris­ter Nestor Ezeme as chair­man.

Ac­cord­ing to the state­ment, Mrs. Favour Ug­wuanyi is the per­ma­nent sec­re­tary of the board which has Obi Kama and Cle­ment Inyaba as mem­bers.

Mrs.Veron­ica Ezeugwu and Mrs. Obi­ageli Theresa Ig­wesi were named part time mem­bers.

The gover­nor also dis­solved the Gov­ern­ing Coun­cil of the state Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion Tech­ni­cal with ef­fect from Oc­to­ber 9.

He ap­pointed Am­bas­sador Fidelia Akua­bata Njeze as its new chair­man. Prince Mathew Agu, Mr. Emeka Nwatu, Prof. Tagbo Ugwu and Bar­ris­ter Ben. Ezeugwu are mem­bers.
