4 women survive bus crash at Amagada
Four female passengers nearly lost their lives on Wednesday in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Amagada along Zuba-Kaduna Expressway.
An eye witness said the crash happened around 12:40noon involving a Mack trailer and a Toyota bus with registration number DT 707 AKA, carrying eleven passengers.
He said the bus which was going to Delta State from Jos was overtaking the trailer when the driver suddenly lost control and crashed into a ditch, leaving the four women with varying degrees of injuries.
Similarly, two persons were seriously injured in a crash that occurred in Zuba, Niger State. City News gathered that the accident happened around 11p.m. when an articulated trailer loaded with sugar rammed into two stationary vehicles parked by the roadside.
When contacted, the Zuba FRSC Unit Commander, Asst. Corp Commander Muta’a Chorrie confirmed both accidents, attributing the cause of the accident to over-speeding.
