4 women sur­vive bus crash at Ama­gada

Four fe­male pas­sen­gers nearly lost their lives on Wed­nes­day in a ghastly mo­tor ac­ci­dent that oc­curred in Ama­gada along Zuba-Kaduna Ex­press­way.

An eye wit­ness said the crash hap­pened around 12:40noon in­volv­ing a Mack trailer and a Toy­ota bus with reg­is­tra­tion num­ber DT 707 AKA, car­ry­ing eleven pas­sen­gers.

He said the bus which was go­ing to Delta State from Jos was over­tak­ing the trailer when the driver sud­denly lost con­trol and crashed into a ditch, leav­ing the four women with vary­ing de­grees of in­juries.

Sim­i­larly, two per­sons were se­ri­ously in­jured in a crash that oc­curred in Zuba, Niger State. City News gath­ered that the ac­ci­dent hap­pened around 11p.m. when an ar­tic­u­lated trailer loaded with sugar rammed into two sta­tion­ary ve­hi­cles parked by the road­side.

When con­tacted, the Zuba FRSC Unit Com­man­der, Asst. Corp Com­man­der Muta’a Chor­rie con­firmed both ac­ci­dents, at­tribut­ing the cause of the ac­ci­dent to over-speed­ing.
