Ministers: Youths not living up to expectation

Daily Trust - - INSIDE POLITICS - From Hope Abah, Makurdi

A youth activist and leader of Civil Society for Good Governance and Transparency International, Comrade Austin Agada, has said that the non-inclusion of younger people in the President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nomination shows that the youths were not living up to expectation.

Agada in an interview with Daily Trust in Makurdi, yesterday, opined that the president may have taken a clue to avert disaster from his predecessor who failed Nigerians in many ways because of the inexperience of the youths he appointed into various positions of responsibilities.

He hailed the caliber of people nominated by Buhari to be part of his government, saying that in all ramifications, given the pedigree of the nominees, the country would soon witness the needed change.

According to him, what happened in the country during the recent general election which brought the former opposition party to take over government was a peaceful revolution by the entire Nigerians who wanted a change irrespective of tribe and religion.
