The Akwa Ibom State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked holes in the verdict of the National and State Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, which upheld the victory of former Governor Godswill Apkabio.

The APC State Chairman, Dr Amadu Attai, who addressed journalists in Abuja at the weekend, described the outcome of the various petitions filed by the party and its candidates at the Akwa Ibom State National and State Assembly Election Petition Tribunals as “wholesale miscarriage of justice.”

According to him, “Nothing drives this point more forcefully home than the controversial decision of the Justice Goddy Anunihu-led Panel to dismiss the petition.
