Ex-minister Moro quizzed over failed immigration recruitment
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday interrogated former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro over allegations of financial crimes in the ill-fated Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recruitment exercise in March, 2014.
The ex-minister was grilled by operatives of the commission over the alleged scam of over N500 million received from about 500, 000 applicants during the recruitment exercise, Daily Trust gathered.
When contacted yesterday the spokesman of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren confirmed that the former minister was at the Abuja head office of the commission to answer some questions.
Recently the EFCC also grilled the former Comptroller General of the NIS, David Parradang on his involvement in the recruitment exercise in what was said to be an ongoing investigation.
