Katsina police rescue, reunite kidnapped victims

Two kidnapped teenagers in Mahuta town of Damdume Local Government in Katsina have been rescued and reunited with their parents by the police.

The teenagers named Usman Rabiu, 15 and Babangida Rabiu, 12, were reportedly kidnapped by a four-man gang that raided their father’s residence in the town.

The state commissioner of Police Usman Abdullahi said one of the kidnappers was killed just as three are on the run saying that the police are on their heels.

He called for more assistance towards the operations of the police in checking atrocities across the state.
