NITDA part­ners NEPC on con­tent ex­port

Ex­port of Nige­rian con­tent is one of the ways Na­tional In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy De­vel­op­ment Agency (NITDA) and Nige­ria Ex­port Pro­mo­tion Coun­cil (NEPC) can part­ner to fur­ther pro­mote and de­velop our prod­ucts and ser­vices to the world, the NITDA’s Di­rec­tor Gen­eral, Mr. Pe­ter Jack has said.

He dis­closed this when he re­ceived the Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor of NEPC, Mr. Oluse­gun Awolowo and his team at the NITDA head­quar­ters in Abuja.

Jack said “two com­po­nents of NITDA’s man­date are IT de­vel­op­ment and stan­dards, guide­lines and reg­u­la­tions there­fore we are will­ing to part­ner with NEPC for the ca­pac­ity de­vel­op­ment of its staff and de­vel­op­ment of a por­tal for ef­fec­tive man­age­ment of ex­port pro­ce­dures. In ad­her­ence to the pur­suit of its man­date, NITDA has set up the Of­fice of Nige­rian Con­tent De­vel­op­ment in ICT to pro­mote lo­cal con­tent in the IT sec­tor.”
