Yobe State marginalised in Buhari’s appointments –Jirgi

A member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in the 2015 general elections, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Jirgi, has cried out over what he called political marginalization of Yobe State by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement issued in Bauchi, he said Yobe was left far behind in terms of appointments by the president.

He argued that if the history of Buhari’s electoral victory was to be written today, Yobe must feature prominently because the electorate voted for him overwhelmingly.

“We are still Nigerians and Yobe is still part of the Nigerian State not Chad or Niger Republics. Beside the appointment of Rep Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim as minister, there was no other appointment by Buhari from Yobe State,” he said.

He therefore urged President Buhari to do justice and extend his usual fairness to Yobe State .
