Southern Kaduna tackles opposition over Buhari, El-Rufa’i

Daily Trust - - INSIDE POLITICS - From Dickson S. Adama, Kaduna

A group under the aegis of Southern Kaduna Development Forum has called on members of the opposition party from the Southern Senatorial District of the state, to desist from unnecessary criticisms and interference in the leadership style of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Nasir Ahmed

The forum, which made the call at an emergency meeting in Kafanchan at the weekend, also appealed to the opposition to stop portraying Buhari and El-Rufa’i in bad light, and advised them to be patient with both the federal and state governments.

Leader of the group, Dr. Rikichi Kajang, said

elRufa’i. activities of some few but vocal individuals, will make leaders both at the state and federal levels to see the entire Southern Kaduna as desperate people.

“Our position is that it is too early to make judgment of any perceived discontent. If anyone is aggrieved, there are proper channels to present such grievances rather than resort to abuses and false petitions.

“El-Rufa’i and Buhari mean good for all Nigerians and they will give us the good leadership we have been yearning for,” Kajang said.

He advised their kinsmen to stop writing frivolous petitions against the government, stressing that ElRufai and Buhari started well by tackling corruption both at federal and state levels.
