Females emerge top 3 best graduating students in Uni-Uyo

The three overall best graduating students of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, for the last session are all females, Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Comfort Ekpo has said.

They are Nsidibe Solomon Etuk of the Department of Music, Grace Monday Williams, Pharmacy and Dr. Imabong Udom of the Department of Clinical Sciences.

Briefing the press yesterday, as part of activities to mark the 21st convocation ceremony of the university, the Vice Chancellor said honorary degrees will also be awarded to three individuals at the event.

She said they include Senator Solomon Ita Enang, who is now Special Adviser to the president on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Funso Alakija, an industrialists and Okon Umanah, an artist.
