CITY NEWS 4 hawk­ers in­jured in Kagini auto crash

Four hawk­ers on Saturday sustained in­juries in a mo­tor ac­ci­dent on Abuja-Kubwa ex­press­way. A wit­ness said the ac­ci­dent hap­pened at Kagini junc­tion around 11.20a.m. in­volv­ing a Honda ac­cord car and a Volk­swa­gen Golf car.

He said both ve­hi­cles were com­ing from the Abuja city and were head­ing to­wards Zuba when the Honda ac­cord car rammed into the hawk­ers while try­ing to over­take the gulf car.

The wit­ness said though none of the pas­sen­gers in the two ve­hi­cles were in­jured, the hawk­ers, three male and a fe­male were se­ri­ously in­jured.

City News learnt that the vic­tims were taken to Kubwa Gen­eral Hospital by the po­lice while the of­fi­cials of the FRSC who came shortly as­sisted in evac­u­at­ing the ve­hi­cles which caused ob­struc­tion on the high­way.
