Eid-El-Fitr: NSCDC de­ploys 5,000 per­son­nel to en­sure se­cu­rity

In a bid to en­sure a hitch-free EidElFitr cel­e­bra­tion, the Kaduna State Com­mand of the Nige­ria Se­cu­rity and Civil De­fence Corps (NSCDC) has de­ployed over 5,000 per­son­nel to ev­ery nook and cranny of the state.

The State Com­man­dant of the corps, Al­haji Modu Bunu dis­closed this yes­ter­day while as­sur­ing that all hands would be on deck to en­sure se­cu­rity of lives and prop­er­ties. Ac­cord­ing to him, uni­form, un­der­cover and armed per­son­nel would be ad­e­quately de­ployed to check any breach of peace be­fore, dur­ing and after the Eid-El- Fitr cel­e­bra­tion.

The NSCDC boss ex­pressed sat­is­fac­tion over the con­duct of Is­lamic faith­ful dur­ing this year’s Taf­sir, urg­ing all res­i­dents of the state ir­re­spec­tive of eth­nic and re­li­gious in­cli­na­tions to em­brace one an­other.
