Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Shehu Sani (APC, Kaduna central) yesterday condemned the bombings in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, saying it cleared doubts on global terrorism.

Sani in a statement said those who perpetrated the act were evil satanic, ungodly and barbaric.

“Terrorism represents a common danger to humanity and the World. The bombing in Saudi Arabia should spark the world to a new coordinated and concerted action to combat the menace of terror,” he said.

He added that the attack on holy places was the most destructive attack on the soul and conscience of humanity.

“Terrorism is sheer evil whose proponents claim to be guided by religion but actually guided by the opposite of it. Terrorists’ disrespect for religious sites as well as for human lives established their identity as roving, blood thirsty lunatics on an evil mission to exterminate and annihilate humanity,” he said.
