The National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO), has urged Nigerians to embrace peace and good neighbourliness to fast-track national development.

The National President of the organisation, Alhaji Kamalddin Akintunde, in a statement to mark the end of the Ramadan fast and celebration of the Eid-el-fitr, also charged Muslims and Christians to tolerate and love one another as partners in Nigeria’s march to progress.

He urged the leadership and followership of the two main faiths to apply understanding, maturity and wisdom in dealing with matters that tend to bring rancour and disharmony between them.

While advising President Muhammadu Buhari to sustain his peaceful approach to the Niger Delta militancy, NACOMYO also urged the president to sustain the anticorruption war.
