Eid el-Fitr cel­e­bra­tion Osun gov, speaker preach re­li­gious tol­er­ance

Osun State Gov­er­nor Rauf Aregbesola and the Speaker of the House of Assem­bly, Rt. Hon. Na­jeem Salaam have en­joined the peo­ple of the state to con­tinue to live in peace and ex­tend hands of fel­low­ship to their neigh­bours in the spirit of Eid-el-Fitr cel­e­bra­tion.

In their sep­a­rate Sallah mes­sages, Aregbesola and Salam stressed the need for tol­er­ance and un­der­stand­ing among the peo­ple.

Speak­ing through the Di­rec­tor of the Bureau of Com­mu­ni­ca­tion and Strat­egy, Mr. Semiu Okan­la­won, the gov­er­nor ad­mon­ished Mus­lims to im­bibe the salient lessons of Ra­madan and em­u­la­tion of the hu­mil­ity, good neigh­bourli­ness, un­der­stand­ing and love ex­em­pli­fied Muham­mad.

The Speaker in a state­ment by his Chief Press Sec­re­tary, Mr. Goke Bu­tika, stressed that the teach­ings of the Qu­ran on har­mo­nious re­la­tion­ship among all men and women should be up­held, while vices should be avoided. by Prophet
