Wike, Masari felicitate with Muslims
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has felicitated with Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri.
Wike, in a Sallah goodwill message signed by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, congratulated the Muslim faithful for the fasting period and its attendant benefits of purification, and called on all Nigerians to draw from the lessons of piety, love, justice, fairness, equity, and peaceful co-existence with others.
In his own message, Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari
Enjoined Muslims to pray fervently for peace and unity during this festive period.
In a statement signed by Senior Special Assistant, Abdu Labaran, Masari said, “As we are all aware of our country’s predicaments of insecurity, fallen economy, there is no doubt that the lessons of Ramadan are but the tonic the nation needs to get it out of its dire straits. We therefore have a responsibility, regardless of our religious beliefs, to take these lessons to heart.”
