Daily Trust - - NEWS - From Abubakar Haruna, Minna

Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has enjoined the Muslim Ummah to continue to live the life of sacrifice in line with the tenets of Ramadan.

He gave this charge yesterday in his Eid elFitr message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, to mark the end of this year’s Ramadan fasting, saying the situation in the country now called for more sacrifices on the part of the leaders and the led.

He called on all Niger people to be optimistic as the on-going economic meltdown would soon become history.

“For us to effectively weather the storm now, we as a people must be ready to make some sacrifices for a reward of better tomorrow,” he stated.
