Daily Trust - - NEWS - From Itodo Daniel Sule, Lokoja

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello yesterday warned that there will be no hiding place for criminal elements to operate in the state. The governor who spoke in Okene after this year’s Eid-el-Fitri prayers to mark the end of the Ramadan fast, informed that security agents had been fully mobilized to deal with violence in the state.

Bello said the security situation in the state had improved over how he met it in January, assured that security of lives and property of the people remained a priority of his government. The governor also used the opportunity to sympathize with workers who could not collect their salaries before the Sallah celebration, saying the delay was caused by the screening exercise.
