Nestoil’s boss urges op­er­a­tors to show­case oil, gas po­ten­tials

Group Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor (GMD) of Nestoil Lim­ited , Dr. Ernest Azu­di­aluO­biejesi,has ad­vised op­er­a­tors in the na­tion’s oil and gas sec­tor to show­case the sec­tor’s po­ten­tials to in­vestors.

He gave the ad­vice at a cer­e­mony in com­mem­o­ra­tion of his com­pany’s award as the oil ser­vice project man­ager com­pany of the year at the 2016 edi­tion of the Busi­nessDayO­val en­ergy oil & gas round­table and awards held at the Civic Cen­tre

He said: “As play­ers in this sub­sec­tor of the econ­omy, we have a duty to high­light its po­ten­tials to the world. We all know that Nige­ria is cur­rently un­der­go­ing a process of re­birth that will bring pros­per­ity to everyone. As Nige­ri­ans, we have a re­spon­si­bil­ity to help the world un­der­stand this and show­case the op­por­tu­ni­ties that come with the trans­for­ma­tion”.

Ex­press­ing his ap­pre­ci­a­tion to the man­age­ment of Busi­nessDay Me­dia Lim­ited, de­scribed the award as “a recognition that will in­spire Nestoil Lim­ited and its sis­ter com­pa­nies to sus­tain their out­stand­ing per­for­mance and in­no­va­tion.

The com­pany was con­sid­ered for the award for ex­e­cu­tion of some land­mark projects in Nige­ria, in­clud­ing con­struc­tion of the Ed­jeba Sewage Treat­ment Plan in Warri, and the con­struc­tion of the OB3 (Obi­afu/Obrikom to Oben) 48” di­am­e­ter gas pipe­line for the Nige­rian Na­tional Petroleum Cor­po­ra­tion (NNPC), among oth­ers.
