China to es­tab­lish chem­i­cal univer­sity in Nige­ria

China Shenyang Univer­sity of Chem­i­cal Tech­nol­ogy has said in its at­tempt to ease stu­dent’s tra­vails in search of knowl­edge over­seas, it will es­tab­lish a univer­sity of chem­i­cal tech­nol­ogy in Nige­ria.

This was re­vealed by the univer­sity’s Di­rec­tor In­ter­na­tional Schools Mr. Yang Bo in Kano.

Mr. Yang, who led a del­e­ga­tion to Nige­ria, was work­ing to strengthen bi­lat­eral re­la­tions be­tween the uni­ver­si­ties in both coun­tries.

He said the univer­sity was ready to co­op­er­ate with Nige­rian uni­ver­si­ties and the busi­ness com­mu­nity to set up a chem­i­cal tech­nol­ogy univer­sity in Nige­ria. “We want to start stu­dents ex­change pro­gramme with Nige­rian gov­ern­ment uni­ver­si­ties such as Bayero Univer­sity Kano (BUK), Kano Univer­sity of Sci­ence and Tech­nol­ogy Wudil and Fed­eral Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion Tech­ni­cal (FCE Bichi) all in Kano,” he said.
