Strike: Ministers meet oil workers today
The Minister of Labour and Employment Sen. Chris Ngige and his Petroleum Resources counterpart Ibe Kachikwu will today hold a crucial meeting with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and Nigeria Union of Petroleum & Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) to find a lasting solution to the lingering problems in the oil and gas sector. This is just as the oil workers begin strike today .
This is contained in a statement issued yesterday by Samuel Olowookere Deputy Director (Press) in the ministry.
The statement said the meeting is scheduled to hold at the Ministry of Petroleum Resources in Abuja.
