The deputy chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee in Imo State, Sir Martins Ejiogu, has expressed his support for the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led national caretaker committee.

Ejiogu expressed optimism that the lingering leadership crisis rocking the party would soon be over, as leaders across the country were working assiduously to resolve the crisis.

Ejiogu said the PDP was built over the years, insisting that no single individual could destabilize it overnight.

On the issue of Imo State botched congress, Sir Ejiogu said “the PDP has resolved to take power back to the people and Senator Uzodinma’s resolve to manipulate the congress result for selfish interest was totally rejected.”
